Richmond-Burton Community High School District 157 issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Parents and Guardians:
We have updated the resources we use to make decisions about opening and closing schools due to COVID-19. It is our goal to remain transparent in how those decisions are made. There is not a single metric or condition we use, but a combination of health metrics and situational reports from our schools. Each case is different, but with each case the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. In addition, our new D-157 COVID-19 Dashboard will show the number of positive COVID-19 individuals in District 157 for each week. The district will update those numbers each Friday afternoon.
