7. Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation/Finding of Facts – November 3, 2020
• Review the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation to approve the petition submitted by Robert Fisher Jr. (petitioner) and Adam Harasimowicz (property owner) granting a conditional use to operate a Motorcycle/ATV/Jet Ski Repair Shop. Subject property is located at 209 South Division St. Will require City Council action to approve or reject the Commission's recommendation and proposed ordinance.
8. Update: 108 Airport Rd. Water/Sewer Hookup Extension
• The City Council granted Marc Hathaway an extension until August, 2020, for compliance with Section 13B.02.D, Use of Sewers Required and 13B.03.B, Use of Water Facilities Required for property located at 108 Airport Rd. The property was sold in August, 2020, and the new owner, Heriberto Casteneda, indicated he was told by the realtor, attorney and seller that he had a year to hook up. Mr. Casteneda has retained an engineer to design the install in order to secure a permit from the McHenry Co. Dept. of Transportation.
9. 1401 Garfield Water/Sewer Hookup Variation
• The City Council approved an ordinance on June 25, 2019, Granting a Variation from Section 13B.03.A, Use of Water Facilities Required for property located at 1401 Garfield St. subject to certain conditions. The subject property has been sold and the stated conditions have not been met.
Action requested is to rescind the variation.
10. Award Property and Liability Insurance 12/2/2020 - 12/1/2021
• Action requested is to award the property and liability insurance coverage to Intact Public Entities/Broker Crum Halsted with an annual premium of $104,442 (includes terrorism coverage) and to authorize the execution of all necessary documents.
11. Park Board Recommendation to Conduct Controlled Burn
• Action requested is to approve the Park Board’s recommendation to conduct a controlled burn in City parks as outlined by Supt. Knop.
12. Streets & Alleys Committee 2022 Road Program Recommendation
• Action requested is to approve the Streets & Alley’s Committee’s recommendation to adopt the 2022 MFT Road Program as presented.
13. Streets & Alleys Committee 2021 Sidewalk Program Recommendation
• Action requested is to approve the Streets & Alley’s Committee’s recommendation to adopt the 2021 Sidewalk Program as presented.
