McHenry County issued the following announcement on Mar 10.
In-person early voting for the April 6 consolidated primary begins Friday, March 12, McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio announced.
Early voting will be available weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Monday, April 5, at the County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock. Nine additional early voting stations will open up across the county starting Monday, March 22.
Voters will choose their representatives on city councils and village boards, all township offices, school boards, park districts, library districts, community college board trustees and fire protection districts. A complete list of candidates can be found on the County Clerk’s website at www.mchenrycountyclerk.com.
County voting stations are regularly sanitized, hand sanitizer is readily available for voters, and physical distancing measures are in place to protect voters and poll workers.
