Marengo Community High School District 154 issued the following announcement on Apr 8.
Parents of Juniors: Please be reminded of our mandated testing requirements, found in the letter that was emailed on March 26, 2021 (click here).
All students, please be mindful of the schedule expectations next week during testing:
Monday, April 12th is an in-person attendance day for students in the A and D cohorts. Synchronous remote attendance is required for B and C students.
Tuesday, April 13th, all Juniors (and a few select Seniors) are required to attend in person to take the SAT test, which is a state-mandated graduation requirement. Specific testing information will be sent via a formal letter to Juniors and parents. Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors will have asynchronous remote instruction on this day. (this takes place of our asynchronous Wednesday for the week)
Wednesday, April 14th is an in-person attendance day for students in the A and D cohorts. Synchronous remote attendance is required for B and C students.
Thursday, April 15th, is now an in-person attendance day for students in the B and D cohorts. Previously we had indicated that all Freshmen and Sophomores were required to attend in person on Thursday, April 15 th to take a practice SAT, however, the state has canceled this due to COVID-19.Synchronous remote attendance is required for A and C students. Friday, April 16th, is an in-person attendance day for students in the B and D cohorts. Synchronous remote attendance is required for A and C students.
