On Feb. 25, Zaweit Ghazal (trust) purchased a home at 8 Turnberry Court, Lake in the Hills from Lawrence Westerlund and Shirley A. Westerlund (deceased) for $400,000.

The amount paid for property taxes on this property in 2020 was $7,852.46, 1.96% of the sale price of the home.

So far in February 2022, 22 properties sold in Lake in the Hills.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Lawrence Westerlund (85) has been registered to vote since 2008 and has voted in at least three primary elections, records show, including three Republican Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
