Richmond home prices rose in the first quarter of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Richmond rose by $52,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 11 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $211,000 - a 33.1% increase over the $158,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Richmond in the first quarter of 2021, as well.

The median sales tax in Richmond for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,193, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
