City of Harvard Administration Committee met Feb. 19.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

The Finance Committee meeting was called to order 8:00 A.M. Committee members present: Committee members present: Chairwoman Lisa Haderlein, Alderman Carncross, Gorman. Also present were Mayor Kelly, Aldermen Jay Schulz, Charlie Gorman, John Lavallee, Matt Perkins, Alderwoman Luna, Supt. of Utilities Jim Grant, Supt. of Public Works Jim Kruckenberg, Supt. of Parks & Recreation Ryan Knop, Treasurer/Asst. Administrator Deb Bejot and City Administrator Dave Nelson.

Public Comment

None

Each Department head gave presentations regarding their respective Budget requests. (Presentations attached) The following adjustments were made.

It was noted by Alderwoman Haderlein that the utility tax payment was -0- Administrator said that is obviously an error and the adjustment needs to be made.

Administrator Nelson noted that bids were open for the local road program and that an adjustment needed to be made in the maintenance account to cover the additional cost. There is currently an unrestricted cash balance in the account to cover the difference.

Motion made by Alderman Gorman seconded by Alderman Carncross to direct staff to draft the final document and prepare for a public hearing. All Ayes

Motion made by Alderman Perkins seconded by Alderman Carncross to adjourn. All Ayes. Meeting adjourned at 11:15 am
