11. Castcarr Properties Zoning Petition

• The petitioners have dropped their petition. No action required.

12. Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation – May 3, 2022

• Review the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation to approve the petition submitted by Tomasz Zawierta (petitioner) and the City of Harvard (property owner) for a conditional use for self-storage buildings and outside storage. Subject property is a vacant parcel located on the west side of North Division, north of Northfield Ave., with frontage on North Division and Northfield Ave. Will require City Council action to approve or reject the Commission's recommendation.

13. Home Occupation Permit Applications

a) Damian Bernal d/b/a Plant Garden Landscape is seeking approval of a Home Occupation Permit to conduct a landscaping business at his residence at 606 N. Howard St. Action requested is to approve or deny the application.

b) Juan Rojas, d/b/a Rojas Lawncare is seeking approval of a Home Occupation Permit to conduct a landscaping business at his residence at 349 Marengo Rd. Action requested is to approve or deny the application.

14. Milk Day Certificate Request – Saturday, June 4, 2022

• Eric Brehm/Hub Lounge is requesting a Milk Day Certificate pursuant to Section 25.06B.2 for the outside consumption of alcohol and to encroach on the City sidewalk. The fees have been paid. Will require action from the City Council to approve or deny the request.

15. Special Event Liquor License Requests

a) The Harvard Parks Foundation is requesting a Special Event Liquor License for Saturday, July 2, 2022, from 2 – 10 pm in conjunction with the Red, White & Blue Food Truck Feastival. The fees have been paid. Action requested is to approve or deny the request, pending submission of dram shop insurance.

b) Felix Salas is requesting a Special Event Liquor License for Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 3 – 7 pm at Lion’s Park in conjunction with a pool party. Action requested is to approve or deny the request, pending submission of dram shop insurance.

16. Proposed Ordinance Amending Section 6.13.H.5 Park Fees

• Per the Park Board’s recommendation, action requested is to approve an ordinance to waive Park/Park Shelter Rental Fees for local not-for-profit organizations.
