1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All
All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.
A. Village Board Meeting Minutes – July 6, 2023
The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.
B. Accounts Payable – July 18, 2023 and August 1, 2023
The Board will consider the payment of bills.
C. Treasurer’s Report – June 2023
The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.
D. Business Capital Assistance Program Grant, Bruneaus Restaurant Concepts, LLC
The Board will consider authorizing the Village Administrator to enter into an agreement with Bruneaus Restaurant Concepts, LLC to provide a Business Capital Assistance Program grant to the business to be located at the Fox River Grove Metra Station.
E. Waive Temporary Liquor License Fees, Lions Club – FRG Makers Market September 9, 2023 and Fall Fun October 21, 2023.
The Board will consider waiving the temporary liquor license fees for the Fox River Grove Lions Club to serve alcohol at FRG Makers Market and Fall Fun.
F. Waive Raffle Fee & Fidelity Bond Requirement for Fox River Grove PTO
The Board will consider waiving the raffle fee and fidelity bond requirement for the Fox River Grove PTO’s annual raffle.
2. Discussion: Liquor License Application, Stella’s
The Board will consider the creation of a Class “A” liquor license for a gaming café to be located at 724 Northwest Highway.
3. Discussion: Building Code Updates
The Board will consider updates to the Village’s building codes (building, fire, mechanical, fuel gas, existing building, swimming pool and spa, energy conservation, accessibility, electrical, plumbing, and property maintenance).
