Village of Johnsburg President and Board of Trustees met Aug. 31.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

President Hettermann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Hall.

OMNIBUS AGENDA –Trustee Foreman moved to approve the Omnibus Agenda. Trustee Morris seconded the motion. Trustee Letzter sought clarification on the designation of the funds being used for the sewer river crossing. All Trustees present voted aye. Motion carried.

•  Move to approve Pay Request #1 in the amount of $299,987.12 to Campanella and Sons, Inc. for the Church Street Realignment Project

•  Move to designate the use of ARPA Funds, DCOE Grant Funds, Sewer Bond Proceeds and Sewer/ Water Funds for the River Sanitary Sewer Extension Project.

NEW BUSINESS

LATERIAL HIRE – Trustee Hagen moved to approve the lateral hire of a police officer. Trustee Fouke seconded the motion. Chief VonAllmen explained the lateral hire process and clarified the officer will be brought on as a ten year officer but their seniority will be that of a starting officer. All Trustees present voted aye. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT – Trustee Foreman moved to adjourn the meeting. Trustee Morris seconded the motion. All trustees present voted aye. Motion to adjourn was carried at 7:10 p.m.
