Move to accept proposal from Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. in the amount of $128,695 for the Village’s Property, Liability, Equipment Breakdown, Cyber, Crime and Worker’s Compensation insurance.

Move to appoint the Planning and Zoning Commission as a Special Zoning Commission to consider text amendments to Sections 6, Non-conforming Buildings and Uses, by adding Section 6.10 Burden of Proof; Section 7.1 Accessory Buildings and Structures by adding Section 7.1-11, Limited Personal Storage and Section 20, Violations: Penalty of the Johnsburg Zoning Ordinance.

Move to approve Pay Request #1 from Peter Baker and Sons Co. in the amount of $600,266.42 for the 2023 Road Resurfacing Program.

NEW BUSINESS 

VILLAGE BOARD Move to approve Ordinance 23-24-15 An Ordinance for the Levy of Taxes for the Village of Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois for the Tax Year 2023

PUBLIC HEARING Public Hearing pursuant to the requirements of Sections 10 and 20 of the Bond Issuance Notification Act of the State of Illinois, as amended on the plans to issue General Obligation Bonds, (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2024 in the amount not to exceed $5,500,000.

JACK PEASE Public Improvements - Dutch Creek Estates Phases 3-6

VILLAGE BOARD Move to approve Pay Request #3 to Lenny Hoffman Excavating the amount of $391,732.83 for the Sunnyside Beach Road Improvement Project.

ADJOURNMENT 

Closed meetings: The Village Board may hold a closed meeting to consider, among other items, the following under the Illinois Open Meetings Act: 1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the Village, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity; 2) collective negotiating matters between the Village and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; 3) the purchase or lease of real property for the use of the Village; including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired; and 4) litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the Village has been filed and pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the Village finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.
