Representative Reick will host a free paper shredding and food drive event on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon at his district office located at 1072 Lake Avenue, Woodstock, IL.

Attendees are encouraged to bring sensitive documents for shredding and non-perishable food items for local food pantries. The event will accept up to two banker boxes of paper documents per vehicle for secure destruction.

Paper will be accepted until the truck is full or until the event concludes at noon. Electronics will not be accepted for recycling or disposal. Documents collected will not be shredded on-site but instead placed in sealed bins and transported to AMS Store & Shred’s facility for complete destruction. Each vehicle will receive an official certificate of destruction upon collection.

The event will conclude either at noon or once the truck reaches capacity. All donated food items must be non-perishable.
