Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events)

Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting.

1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All

All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.

A. Village Board Meeting Minutes – July 16, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.

B. Accounts Payable – August 6, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the accounts payable reports and payment of the bills.

C. Treasurer’s Report – June 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.

D. Ordinance 2024-08, 100 Ski Hill Road, Accessory Structure Variations – Exceeding 12’ in Height,

576 Square Feet in Area, Side Yard Location

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance that would grant variations to permit the construction of an accessory structure no more than sixteen feet (16’) in height and no more than 1,200 square feet in area in a side yard adjoining a street.

E. Ordinance 2024-09, 220 Gladys Avenue, Accessory Structure Variation – Exceeding 576 Square Feet in Area

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance that would grant a variation to permit the construction of an accessory structure no more than 680 square feet in area.

F. Ordinance 2024-10, Text Amendments to the Fox River Grove Zoning Ordinance

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance amending the Fox River Grove Zoning Ordinance regarding the use of shipping containers within the B3 Commercial Recreation Area zoning district as a special use.

G. Award of Bid, Picnic Grove Park Monument Sign, Milieu Landscaping

The Board will consider awarding the bid for the Picnic Grove Park Monument Sign to Milieu Landscaping. Milieu Landscaping was the low bidder on the project, with a total bid of $35,181.

H. Waive Raffle Fee & Fidelity Bond Requirement for Fox River Grove PTO

The Board will consider waiving the raffle fee and fidelity bond requirement for the Fox River Grove PTO’s annual raffle.

I. Waive Temporary Liquor License Fee for Fall Fun – October 19, 2024 – Fox River Grove Lions Club

The Board will consider waiving the temporary liquor license fee for the Fox River Grove Lions Club to serve alcoholic beverages at Fall Fun.
