Village of Fox River Grove Village Board will meet Sept. 3

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

Public Comment

The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda or of a general nature.

Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.

Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events)

Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting.

1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All

All matters listed under Item 1, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.

A. Village Board and Executive Session Meeting Minutes – August 20, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.

B. Accounts Payable – September 3, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the accounts payable reports and payment of the bills.

C. Treasurer’s Report – July 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.

D. Façade Grant Agreement – The 100 Lounge

The Board will consider authorizing the Village Administrator to execute an agreement with The High Rollers Club, Inc. (The 100 Lounge) to provide a façade grant of $7,350.00 associated with the costs of a new sign, replace damaged soffit and awnings and repainting the front of the building. Staff has reviewed the quotes provided to ensure they were in line with estimates previously supplied to the Board.

2. Approval: Ordinance 2024-09, 220 Gladys Avenue, Accessory Structure Variation – Exceeding 576 Square Feet in Area

The Board will reconsider the approval of an ordinance that would grant a variation to permit the construction of an accessory structure no more than 680 square feet in area.

3. Approval: Reject All Proposals Received for Residential Waste, Recycling and Landscape Waste

Collection Services Contract

The Board will consider rejecting all proposals received in response to the Village’s Request for Proposal for Residential Waste, Recycling and Landscape Waste Collection Services. None of the  proposals received were responsive in relation to delivering the Village’s base program for the prices provided.
