Public Comment

The Board will accept public comment on items included on the meeting agenda or of a general nature. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.

Village President and Trustee Reports (Parks; Planning & Zoning; Special Events)

Board members have the opportunity to report on any topic during the public meeting.

Proclamation: Honoring BSA Troop 166’s New Eagle Scout – Steven Alexander Thomas

Village President McLaughlin will read aloud a proclamation honoring Steven Alexander Thomas for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

1. Approval: Consent Agenda – Approval via One Vote for All

All matters listed under Item 2, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Village Board and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. If a separate discussion is desired, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.

A. Meeting Minutes – Village Board – November 5, 2024 & November 12, 2024; Executive Session – November 5, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of previous meeting minutes.

B. Accounts Payable – November 19, 2024 & December 3, 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the accounts payable reports and payment of the bills.

C. Treasurer’s Report – October 2024

The Board will consider the approval of the monthly treasurer’s report.

D. Ordinance 2024-12, Gardner Terrace Special Service Area Levy

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to authorize the Gardner Terrace Special Service Area Property Tax Levy in the amount of $3,600.

E. Ordinance 2024-13, Picnic Grove Special Service Area Levy

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to authorize the Picnic Grove Special Service Area Property Tax Levy in the amount of $1,890.

F. Ordinance 2024-14, Hunters Farm Special Service Area Levy

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to authorize the Hunter’s Farm Special Service Area Property Tax Levy in the amount of $12,580.

G. Ordinance 2024-15, Talon Special Service Area Levy

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to authorize the Talon Special Service Area Property Tax Levy in the amount of $4,920.

H. Ordinance 2024-16, Corporate Tax Levy

The Board will consider the approval of an ordinance to authorize the Corporate Property Tax Levy in the amount of $1,167,533.

2. Presentation: FYE 2024 Audit

A representative from Lauterbach & Amen, LLP will be in attendance to present the findings of the FYE 2024 Audit.

3. Discussion: Commission/Committee Review

The Board will consider the current status of each commission and committee in terms of open positions.
