In an effort to connect with constituents and showcase local businesses, State Senator Craig Wilcox (R-Woodstock) will host a series of "Conversations Untapped" events in the 32nd Senate District this summer. The first event is set for July 15 at Spirit Water Brewing in Cary.
“These low-key events provide the perfect atmosphere for people to come out and have casual conversations with their State Senator,” said Wilcox. “I hold these annual events at local restaurants so people can enjoy some of the great food and refreshments this region has to offer while we chat.”
The schedule for the upcoming events is as follows:
- July 15 at Spirit Water, 3300 Three Oaks Road, Cary, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
- July 23 at Rivalry Alehouse, 945 Main Street, Antioch, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
- August 28 at Harbor Brewing Company, 136 Cedar Avenue, Lake Villa, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
“The legislature is gearing up for the fall veto session in October, so I look forward to hearing from my constituents about issues that are important to them and how I can best work on their behalf in Springfield,” added Wilcox. “I’m hoping for large turnouts at all three events so I can hear people’s ideas and concerns about their state government.”
