State Sen. Craig Wilcox and State Rep. Steve Reick are set to collaborate with the Illinois Tollway for an I-PASS ON DEMAND event on April 16 in McHenry. This gathering aims to assist motorists in updating their I-PASS systems from plastic transponders to the newer sticker tags.

The event is slated to take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the City of McHenry, located at 333 S. Green Street. Attendees are advised to bring their driver's licenses along with their license plate numbers to present to the Illinois Tollway officials. It is suggested that participants prepare for potential brief wait times.

Officials from the Illinois Tollway will facilitate the transition to the new sticker technology, ensuring no disruption to the motorists' I-PASS account activities. They will also be available to address any queries related to I-PASS accounts and "Pay by Plate" matters.

The Sticker Tag, once activated, can be used on the Illinois Tollway and E-Z Pass roadways in other states within 24 hours. There is no deposit for the Sticker Tag, and the $10 transponder deposit will transfer to the new account upon activation.

For further information regarding this event, contact details and additional resources can be obtained from local representatives.
