Skillicorn loses plea; District 155 school board votes for tax hike

Community High School District 155 Board members in Crystal Lake tentatively approved a tax levy increase despite the objections of Rep. Allen Skillicorn (R-East Dundee) and others at a recent meeting, according to a press release.
