The McHenry City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to discuss the proposed $4.7 million 2015 tax levy.
The council is expected to adopt the levy baring any new considerations brought forth during the hearing.
McHenry also will likely join other local communities in approving the new stormwater managment ordinance. The ordinance is part of an agreement with federal agencies that trades comprehensive disaster insurance for a specific set of proactive measures, as outlined in the stormwater management ordinance.
The council also is expected to approve 2016 health coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, vote on entering an economic incentive agreement with Sunnyside Auto Finance Co. and consider appointing George Lamm to the McHenry Landmark Commission.
