Prairie Grove trustees discuss special use for Barreville Road property

A request for an amendment of a special use for a property on Barreville Road was one of the main discussions at the Prairie Grove Board Village Board meeting Oct. 20.

Before the discussion started, Village President Stanley Duda recused himself from the board and took a seat in the audience.

The discussion regarded a request for an amendment for special use of the property at 2480 Barreville Road. A history of the amendment presented at the meeting mentioned the use of a storage trailer that will have a cement enclosure and a white cover to blend in with the barn. Both sides have approved of the storage trailer and have tried to work together. Village Attorney David McArdle said that with the late changes, more time would be needed to review the request.

Manure on the property also was discussed. It will mostly likely be discussed at a leter date, as all documents still need to be approved, which came on recommendation from Trustee Michael Breseman.

A motion from Trustee Everett Pratt to continue the discussion at the next board meeting was approved
