McHenry engineering services detailed by HR Green.
The City of McHenry Committee of the Whole was briefed on engineering services by HR Green Inc. during a special meeting that took place in November.
According to the minutes released by the committee, the company has been the primary engineering firm since 2005. Presenting on behalf of the company was Chad Pieper, who serves as an engineering liaison between the city and the company. Part of the company’s work lies within oversight of development projects, operational and maintenance activity.
The meeting attendants were detailed on the areas of specialization and the makeup of its staff, including architects, geographic information systems specialists and general engineering personnel. It was also noted that the firm was approximately in the middle of the spectrum concerning the typical costs of its service in comparison to other firms with similar experience.
McHenry Mayor Susan Low reported that this meeting’s primary purpose was to provide the council with an overview of the company’s offerings.
The council also stated that this was the first time the company has presented to a committee of this type.
Pieper stated that the company has offices in Colorado, California, Iowa, Minnesota, Texas and Illinois
