The McHenry County Agricultural and Conservation Easement and Farmland Protection Commission (ACE) will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the county's administration building at 667 Ware Rd. in Woodstock to continue discussions regarding appointments.
In the meeting notes from the Nov. 18 ACE meeting, commissioners said there are currently two vacancies and many others within the McHenry County Zoning Board. Members of the commission were asked if they knew of any individuals that would be interested and qualified for these positions.
The commission also will be discussing officer appointments and alternative meeting dates and times. Commissioners will consider a proposal to meet the third Wednesday of January, April, August and November.
The commission also will review the meeting notes from Nov. 18 regarding possible funding initiatives and whether there are groups in the county that the commission could meet with.
