Trustees for the Firefighters’ Pension Fund of Crystal Lake voted Tuesday to approve cost of living adjustments in firefighter pensions.
The adjustments were made to account for inflation so that pensions would not be overshadowed by increases for 2016.
Trustees also discussed a tax levy request, trustee terms and their respective expirations, the city’s compliance report and reports regarding investments and other financial opportunities relating to the fund, including potential sales and purchases of securities and bills subject to approval.
