The Crystal Lake Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to consider variations in permits relating to signage and the construction of a massage parlor at its meeting a 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall.
Commissioners will consider a request for a special use permit that would allow the Burger King location on Terra Cotta Avenue to have a sign of up to 373.26 square feet placed and to allow a sign over 75 square feet on a single side of the building.
Commissioners also will consider a planned unit development amendment that would allow 189.64 square feet of signage for Party City and 140 square feet of signage for Planet Fitness. Both of these locations are in the 5300 block of Northwest Highway.
This meeting will also be considering a special use permit request to build a massage parlor from Kincaid at 77 E. Woodstock St. and a request for a variance on the requirement associated with parking spaces, currently set at a minimum of 33 spaces.
