Village of Lake in the Hills Board of Trustees met July 24

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Call to Order

4. Public Comment

The public is invited to make an issue-oriented comment on any matter of public concern. The public comment may be no longer than 3 minutes in duration.

5. Consent Agenda

This portion of the agenda contains several items which will be acted upon in one motion unless any Trustee wishes to remove an item. For members of the public, copies of the agenda are available at the entryway.

A. Motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the July 8, 2025 Board of Trustees meeting.

B. Motion to approve the July 25, 2025 Schedule of Bills, total of all funds in the amount of $485,774.53.

C. Motion to approve the June 2025 Manual Bills, total of all funds in the amount of $1,549,921.12.

6. Items for Discussion and Consideration

The Board may combine multiple items in the same motion. A Trustee may at any time request that the combined action be voted upon in separate motions.

ADMINISTRATION

A. Residential Real Estate Contract for 5 Linden St.

B. License Agreements for Trailer Parking at 600 E. Oak St.

C. Special Event Permit and Noise Waiver for Summer Sunset Festival.

D. Issuance of a Pyrotechnic Fireworks License to Mad Bomber Fireworks for the Summer Sunset Festival.

POLICE

E. Duty Weapon Letter of Understanding with Metropolitan Alliance of Police Chapter #90.

F. Ordinance amending Chapter 4, Police Department, Section 4.09, Board of Police Commissioners, of the Lake in the Hills Municipal Code.

G. Contracts with Chicago Communications for radio and alarm monitoring systems in the new Police Facility.

PUBLIC WORKS

H. Purchase of Two Fuel Trailers for Airport Operations.

PARKS & RECREATION

I. Informational item concerning Sunset West Parking Area for Buddy Baseball Field.
