The Marengo City Council accepted a bid from Tri-County - Preferred Garage Doors Inc. for two overhead garage doors for the Public Works Building during its meeting Jan. 25.
Tri-County - Preferred Garage Doors had submitted a bid of $10,255.80 to supply the doors.
Three bids had been submitted and were reviewed, Public Works Director Howard Moser said, and the department recommended Tri-County's did.
The council also approved a special use permit to allow a self-storage facility near Highway 20.
