The Marengo City Council will discuss a contract for a remedy for drinking water during its meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall.
The contract would be made between the city, 300 West LLC and Arnold Engineering Co. to facilitate a permanent remedy to the supply of drinking water for Railroad Street and Ritz Road residents. This action is related to a civil action case that being considered in McHenry County Circuit Court.
Other items scheduled to be considered at the meeting include a request for a Class B liquor license, a bid for the rehabilitation of the Indian Trails Lift Station, reviewing general fund revenue and a special-use permit request to allow the sale of used cars.
