The Historic Preservation Commission of Crystal Lake discussed the 2016 Trolley Tour and other matters at its March 3 meeting.
The commission covered potential routes for the tour and what locations should be featured on the tour. The commission also discussed the progress that has been made on its overall development.
The Trolley Tour is an annual event in the city and celebrates a specific neighborhood within the city and its historical significance. According to an earlier article from McHenry Times, the tour will be scheduled for June 12 and will run between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are set to go on sale on May 14.
The commission agenda also indicates that the price for tickets may be increased.
During this meeting, the commission reviewed the meeting minutes from its meeting that took place on Feb. 4.
The commission also considered changes to the Historic Preservation Ordinance relating to matters associated with meeting processes, such as the amount of members necessary to form a quorum and the total number of commission members. Residency requirements were also discussed.
