The Fox River Grove Village Board met as committee of the whole April 7 to discuss a zoning request to allow a hoop house to remain on property at 1005 Route 22.
The village zoning board had recommended the request by the property owner and the landscaping business owner to allow a 20-foot hoop house for storing soil, compost and landscape materials be allowed at the site, which under ordinance had a height restriction of 12 feet.
The committee also discussed an ordinance to allow picket fences in front yards.
