Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission to discuss Dole Mansion grant

The Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Municipal Complex, 100 W. Woodstock St.

The Historic Preservation Commission was established to aid in the preservation of Crystal Lake's historic and cultural heritage. The commission meets the first Thursday of each month to hear requests for landmark status, certificates of appropriateness and grant requests. The commission also plans and participates in historic events in the city and presents the annual Heritage Tour.
