The McHenry County College men's basketball team will host the school's 32nd annual Craft Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 23.
The fair will be held at the college, 8900 U.S. Highway 14 in Crystal Lake. It is expected to feature more than 120 crafters who will be displaying ceramics, quilts, jewelry, candles, ornaments and greeting cards.
Crafters interested in having a space at the show can call 815-218-2074 or email dpettit@mchenry.edu to ask about space availability. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are $45 apiece; there is an additional $8 fee to rent a table.
Each crafter must donate an item for door-prize drawings that will be held throughout the day.
The first home game for the Scots basketball team this season will be Nov. 1 against Madison College. The Scots went 17-13 last season, according to njcaa.org, and tied for third in the Illinois Skyway Conference with a 9-5 record in league play, according to the the conference's website.
