The McHenry County College volleyball team won its second-straight Illinois Skyway Conference title with a 3-1 win over Moraine Valley on this week in Palos Hills.
The victory gave the Scots a 7-0 league record. Game scores were 25-12, 22-25, 25-16, 26-24, according to njcaa.org.
MCC also had a 7-0 league record last season and has a 19-2 conference record over the past three seasons, according to IllinoisSkyway.org.
The Scots, who had a 24-11 record as of Wedneday, were ranked No. 12 in the most-recent NJCAA Division II volleyball poll on Tuesday and were the highest-ranked Illinois Skyway Conference team.
McHenry's final home game of the regular season is against Madison at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24. The Region IV playoffs begin Sunday, Oct. 30, at sites to be determined. McHenry is the defending Region IV champion.
