The McHenry County College volleyball team repeated as Region IV champions and earned several Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) honors, according to the school's athletics website.

The Scots won the regional tournament by beating Waubonsee 28-26, 25-14, 25-20 last weekend at the College of Lake County. That earned MCC a trip to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament, which starts Thursday in Charleston, West Virginia.

MCC's Kayli Trausch, Sommer Rhea, Kyla Fitzsimmons and Payton Traff were named to the all-tournament team.

Those four Scots also were named to the all-conference first team, with Trausch being named the conference's Player of the Year. Trausch is a repeat selection for the all-conference first team. Anna Schupbach and McKenna Miller were named to the second team. Also, Head Coach Kyle McCall was named the ISCC Coach of the Year.
