Two incumbents in the hotly contested Republican primary race for Nunda Township trustee won primary races, while two others will be replaced on the April ballot.
Incumbents Edward Dvorak and Karen Tynis will be joined by newcomers Tim and Robert Parrish to face off against Democratic nominees Nan Kueller, Lori McConville, R.J. Darger and Kelli Wegner.
The GOP primary was close, with both Parrish brothers receiving more than 16 percent of the vote, Tynis gaining 15.12 percent and Dvorak garnering 14.74 percent.
Shorten had almost 14 percent of the vote and was trailed by Heath with 12.79 percent and Boltz with 10.66 percent. Boltz was appointed in 2014 to replace outgoing trustee Ed McGill.
With no Democrats to oppose them in April, Kelvin Lee Jennings was re-elected Nunda Township supervisor and Mike Lesperance won re-election as highway commissioner. Mark Dzemske, also unopposed in April, won the assessor vote.
