Village of Richmond Finance Committee met March 12.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

The Finance Committee meeting held at the Village Hall, 5600 Hunter Drive was called to order by Chairman Ramsin Wardanian at 5:00 PM.

Members Present: Trustees: Dennis Bardy, TJ Fulmer and Ramsin Wardanian.

Members Absent: None.

Other Employees/Officials Present: Village Clerk Karla Thomas.

Approval of Minutes: None.

Public Comments: None.

Clerk’s Comments: The Village Clerk reported that she received paperwork regarding the employee health insurance premiums for FY 2019. The cost can in 2% less than budgeted with only two changes to the current plan provided.

Unfinished Business: None.

New Business: The committee reviewed the Police Budget, no changes were made.

Trustee Comments: Trustee Wardanian reported that assets will be added to the end of the budget document instead of fund balance carryovers, as previously done in prior budget years. He stressed the importance of the Board determining what direction would be taken regarding the watermain redundancy issue so that the budget can be completed.

Trustee Wardanian suggested that at the March 26th Finance meeting the committee review the complete budget and cancel the April 5th Finance meeting in lieu of calling a Special Board Meeting to review the budget with the full

Board, if they are interested.

Adjournment: There being no further business to discuss, Trustee Fulmer moved, seconded by Trustee Bardy to adjourn the March 12, 2018 Special Finance Committee meeting. The motion was approved by voice vote.
