Lake in The Hills Public Works Department issued the following announcement on May 7.
The annual Lake in the Hills Public Works Open House will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as a part of National Public Works Week. The event gives residents an opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes in the daily tasks of maintaining the infrastructure of the Village. If it rains, the event will be held indoors, so all can stay warm and dry.
Bring the entire family to see the displays, get answers to your questions and enjoy a complimentary hot dog lunch hot off the grill. The Public Works Department is located at 9010 Haligus Road about one block south of the intersection with Miller Road.
