City of McHenry recently issued the following announcement.
The McHenry Area Jaycees in partnership with the City of McHenry would like to invite you to celebrate Independence Day with some fun in the sun, great music, and of course, FIREWORKS! This year the event will be on Saturday, July 7th from 2pm-12am.
Cars: $5 (receive 5 tickets for entry, additional passengers $1)
All others: $1 per person
Children under 3 years are free.
**NO ALCOHOL will be permitted inside the event**
OTHER ACTIVITIES BEFORE FIREWORKS
Face painting will be available under the red-and-white striped tent for $2 per design.
The Kid Zone is coming back! Featuring several kid friendly games and activities including Plinko and a Lollipop Prize Board!
