Centegra Health System will celebrate World Breastfeeding Week with special events on Saturday, Aug. 4, at Centegra Hospital-Huntley, 10400 Haligus Road.
Moms, dads and parents planning a family are invited to attend the Big Latch On from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the Mommy Mingle Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Foglia Family Foundation Education Center at Centegra Hospital-Huntley. Register before the event by visiting www.Biglatchon.org. Walk-ins are welcome.
Big Latch On is a worldwide event that encourages breastfeeding women to come together to latch on their children at the same time. Centegra’s Mommy Mingle Fair will include raffle items, giveaways, informational booths and an opportunity to learn about products for moms, babies and young children.
Car seat safety checks will be provided in the parking lot.
