Village of Hebron recently issued the following announcement.
Exciting news for Hebron! HBO & Random Productions, LLC is currently in production of the show ‘Lovecraft Country’ which is filming in several areas of Illinois. One upcoming location is the village’s very own Dari and is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 27 from 5pm - 9pm.
Both routes 47 & 173, along with some side streets, will be closed and detoured from approximately 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and marked as such by the production company.
We did inquire about the use of extras, however, that has already been taken care of. If residents would like to watch the shooting, we ask that you do so from the Northeast corner of Rt. 47 & 173 which will not be utilized during filming.
The filming schedule is weather permitting with an alternate shoot date of Wednesday, August 29th.
