Joe Tirio wins McHenry County Clerk's race

Republican Joe Tirio has been declared the winner in the McHenry County Clerk's race against Democrat Andrew "Drew" Georgi.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Tirio had 56.46 percent of the vote with a total of 50,801 votes.

Georgi received 43.54 percent of the vote with a total of 39,177 votes.
