Governor race: Republican Rauner wins voter tally in McHenry County

Bruce Rauner led Democrat JB Pritzker in votes cast in McHenry County for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Rauner appeared to outpace Pritzker by a margin of 13.5 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Bruce Rauner, won by a margin of 34.8 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Pat Quinn, who received 29,116 votes to Rauner's 61,827.
