Village of Huntley Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
We are now accepting applications for the upcoming Citizen Police Academy. The Citizen Police Academy is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 from 7 pm until 9 pm, and will meet every Wednesday night through May 22nd, 2019 at the Huntley Police Department, located at 10911 Main Street, Huntley.
The Citizen Police Academy is free of charge and is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and live or work in the Village of Huntley. Applicants will be subject to a background check. Advanced registration is required and seating is limited. The registration deadline is Wednesday, February 15th, 2019, or until class is filled.
