Report: Woodstock spent $13,221 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Woodstock Community Unit School District 200 is up 11.9 percent from five years ago, according to a McHenry Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Mchenry County school district spent $11,813 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,221 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 6498 to 6419.

Woodstock's spending in 2017-18 was 0.9 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
