Harvard Community Unit School District 50 issued the following announcement on Feb. 1.
Seniors,
Please visit the Guidance Website at www.harvardguidance.com and start applying for scholarships today! The deadline for most local scholarships is Friday, March 15, 2019, by 3:00 p.m. in the Guidance Office. All scholarships must be personally handed in and signed in the Guidance Office with Mrs. Miller or one of the counselors unless the scholarship specifies to mail directly to the committee. Please watch deadline dates, some do vary. If you have any questions at all, please come into the Guidance Office.
Also, please make sure that you have your resume up-to-date to give to your teachers, community members or pastors, etc. to write your recommendation letters. This is something that you want to start asking for now. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST WEEK.
