Lake in the Hills home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Lake in the Hills fell by $4,412.50 while total sales increased by 3.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 32 homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,587.50 - a 2.4% decrease over the $182,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Lake in the Hills in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Lake in the Hills for 2017 was $5,878.95. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,895.40. This marks an decrease of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.3%.
