City of Harvard Finance Committee met April 17.

The Finance Committee meeting was called to order 6:00 pm. Committee members present: Chairman Carl Opper, Alderman Ron Burlingame and Dan Carncross. Also present were Mayor Kelly, Alderman Raul Meza, City Administrator Dave Nelson and Chief Krause.

Emergency Warnings & Notifications
The Chief went over his memo and gave a presentation. The Committee discussed the merits of keeping up the old system with the current sirens.
The Committee discussed Code Red.
A motion was made by Alderman Carncross, seconded by Alderman Burlingame to hook up with the Code Red $3,000 Option, at a cost not to exceed $3,000. Chief Krause will report back to the City Council on the maximum amount of minutes. All ayes. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Alderman Opper, seconded by Alderman Carncross to adjourn the meeting. All ayes motion passed.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45 pm.
