Village of Richmond Finance Committee met June 17.

Chairman Ramsin Wardanian called the Regular Finance Committee meeting held on June 17, 2019 at the Village Hall (5600 Hunter Drive) to order at 4:10 PM.
Members Present: Trustees: Dennis Bardy, TJ Fulmer (left meeting at 4:35 PM), and Ramsin Wardanian (Chair). Members Absent: None.
Other Employees/Officials Present: Village Clerk Karla Thomas.
Approval of Minutes: The committee reviewed the Regular Finance Committee meeting minutes for June 3, 2019. Trustee Fulmer requested that the $75,000.00 in the 7th sentence under Public Comments be reduce to reflect the proper amount of $70,000.00. Trustee Wardanian requested that a sentence be added after that stating “The committee cut the purchase of a vehicle” and that the next sentence read “The Chief chose to cut additional personnel by $48,000.00.”
Trustee Bardy moved, seconded by Trustee Fulmer to approve the Regular Finance Committee minutes for June 3, 2019 as amended. The motion was approved by voice vote.
Review and Recommendation of Bills for Approval: The committee members reviewed and signed off on invoices submitted for payment.
Public Comments: None.
Clerk’s Comments: The Village Clerk reviewed the list of fees in the Municipal Code with the committee. To clarify Section 5.03(a)(4) the language will be changed to reflect the turn off and on of water charge. The Administrative fee in Chapter 12, Section 12.13(f) will be increased from $20.00 to $100.00 based upon a recommendation by the Police Chief. The business type Video Gaming Parlor will be added to Chapter 21, Section 21.06(B) and the registration fee will be established at $35.00. The committee will look at Chapter 27, Bed and Breakfast Establishments regarding licensing at their next meeting.

Adjournment: There being no further business to discuss, Trustee Bardy moved, seconded by Trustee Wardanian to adjourn the June 17, 2019 Regular Finance Committee meeting. The motion was approved by voice vote.
