The data shows that the 10 released offenders living in the Harvard zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017, and the oldest was a 62-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Sylvester Curry. He was convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons in 2013, when he was 21 years old. He is now 27.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
