City of Harvard Events Subcommittee met June 13.
Here is the minutes provided by the subcommittee:
The meeting was called to order at 5:36 pm. In attendance were Scott Logan, Alderman Raul Meza and Lori Moller.

None
MISSION STATEMENT
The Subcommittee was asked to develop a Mission Statement for the Events Committee. Scott did some initial research and brainstorming on creating Mission Statements. The common thread in his research is that a Mission Statement should be clear and concise with a maximum of 20 words. The Event Committee By-Laws state the following Purpose: The purpose of the Committee is to plan and execute recreational events for the enrichment of the Harvard Community.
After discussion, the following Mission Statement was developed to be presented to the full Events Committee at the next meeting:
“To coordinate and create activities, in partnership with other organizations, for the enrichment of the Harvard area”.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:10 pm.
