Fox River Grove Public Library District Board of Trustee Facility Committee met April 24.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
ROLL CALL – Gipson, Medina, Spiek, Steeves. Call to order 4:04 p.m.
CITIZEN INPUT – Laura Anderson, former Board President, and Larry Bailey, library maintenance, also attended to share expertise.
NEW BUSINESS (all possible action items)
1. Spring Walkthrough – Steeves led attendees on a facility walkthrough, combining a facility tour and general discussion of building systems with observation of small items to repair (safety paint by bookdrop, rusty benches in Memorial Garden, rusty railing between flagpoles). Steeves and Bailey will confer on next steps.
TRUSTEE COMMENTS – Spiek asked about security cameras. Steeves said they are due for upgrade Friday, May 3.
